Located in the Tuileries Garden, the “Jeu de Paume” hosts exhibitions of photography, cinema, video, and installations from the 19th to the 21st century.

The building was built in 1862 during the reign of Napoleon III to house courts for playing “real tennis”, the ancestor of modern tennis.
