Built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the “Petit Palais” (Paris 8th) has a painted and sculpted décor, mosaics and stained glass windows which constitute an exceptional decorative ensemble of the first third of the 20th century.
The building houses the Museum of Fine Arts which presents works of Western art, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts etc. dating from antiquity to the early twentieth century.
Entrance to the permanent collections of the museum is free.
